OVERVIEW – JOB DESCRIPTION:

You’re an ideal candidate if you have experience working in one or more email marketing and/or marketing automations platforms, thrive by wearing multiple hats, are extremely detail-oriented, and are a fast learner when exposed to new software technology. Also ideal is a marketing background in demand generation and lead nurture.

In this role, you’ll be part of a remote team that handles a variety of digital marketing and reporting responsibilities for our B2B and B2C clients, within the context of the larger agency. You’ll be hands-on in a variety of marketing automation, email marketing, reporting, and CRM platforms, as well as assisting with blog posting, social media support, and day-to-day website updates.

You’ll help our team apply best practices toward development of lead generation and lead nurture campaigns, and help optimize the marketing automation platforms to fully leverage their capabilities. You’ll help design and implement a wide variety of campaigns, and contributeto analyzing results and recommending improvements.

ABOUT THE POSITION:
Responsibilities:

  • Support digital demand generation marketing efforts by participating in planning, execution, and reporting of campaigns (including data analytics and metrics) to inform strategic campaign investment.
  • Build, test, launch and optimize campaigns and program integrations including lead nurture, event promotion and A/B testing.
  • Assist with data segmentation, list imports, data maintenance and hygiene, data feeds from individual systems and across system integrations, and data analysis.
  • Create, execute, and optimize workflows within the marketing automation platforms for lead nurturing campaigns.
  • Uncover opportunities to optimize conversion points across the marketing journey.
  • Optimize lead scoring models.
  • Hands-on development of emails, landing page, and segmentation strategy, using personalization and dynamic content.
  • Help maintain and optimize marketing aspects of key CRM and marketing systems.
  • Assist with database maintenance, cleansing, enrichment, and acquisition initiatives.
  • Participate in maintaining the optimal functionality of each platform, including daily, weekly and monthly monitoring of data, automation and other processes.
  • Drive email best practices and consistency within the team to adhere within CAN-SPAM, CASL, and GDPR Guidelines.
  • Assist with small day-to-day updates/changes on client websites.
  • Assist with blog posting.
  • Assist with social media lead generation campaign development, implementation and reporting.
  • Establish, maintain, and improve upon processes for the team.

Requirements:

  • Digital marketing acumen, with understanding of demand generation, digital marketing, marketing operations and the sales process.
  • 2-4+ years of experience working with Marketing Automation and Email Marketing platforms including Act-On, Klaviyo, Pardot, HubSpot or Marketing Cloud; including building, managing, customizing and launching campaigns and their assets. (A huge plus if you have Act-On experience.)
  • Knowledge of 3rd party analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Google Data Studio and TapClicks.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS coding and various CMS platforms including Shopify, WordPress, Umbraco or SquareSpace.
  • A plus if you have experience with CRM platforms and CRM integration with marketing automation, especially Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics.
  • A plus if you have ecommerce experience.
  • A plus if you have worked with Zapier or other API software
  • A plus if you have marketing certifications such as Google, ABM, etc.
  • Overall understanding of the marketing landscape.
  • Strong independent project management skills.
